How do payments work on Kifaayat?

All purchases must be completed through Kifaayat.

Your payment is held via escrow with Kifaayat until delivery is confirmed. Once you confirm that you have received your item, the payment is released to the seller (or else it is auto-paid to the seller 10 days once the seller has marked it as delivered with a tracking ID) 

We do not support payments made outside Kifaayat, including cash, bank transfer or cash payments for local pickup.

Keeping payment within Kifaayat keeps the order and payment connected to the platform.

How do I pay for an item?

Payment is completed through Kifaayat at checkout. We use Stripe for payments with the the world's largest payments platform used on most shopping websites globally: https://stripe.com/

What payment methods does Kifaayat accept?

Kifaayat accepts the following payment methods:

• Credit and debit card
• Google Pay
• Apple Pay

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed through Stripe, a globally trusted payment provider: https://stripe.com/

The seller does not have access to your payment details. 

Why do I need to pay through Kifaayat?

Keeping payment on Kifaayat protects both you and the seller. 

Your payment is held until you confirm delivery. If you pay a seller directly outside Kifaayat, you lose the ability to raise an issues or disputes. 

Can I pay a seller by bank transfer or cash?

No. Kifaayat does not support payments made outside the platform.

All purchases must be completed through Kifaayat checkout. This keeps the payment and order within Kifaayat.

Can I pay cash on collection?

No. Even when arranging a local pickup, payment must be completed through Kifaayat before collection.

Why can't I complete my purchase?

Possible reasons include an issue with your payment method, insufficient funds, or a card being declined by your bank.

Other possible reasons include:

• A temporary issue with your payment method

• Insufficient funds

• A card declined by your bank

When does the seller receive my payment?

The seller receives payment after you confirm that your item has been delivered and received.

Your payment is held until delivery is confirmed (or else it is auto-paid to the seller 10 days once the seller has marked it as delivered with a tracking ID).
