Stripe Setup Required to Keep Listings Active

Payments Setup Update

As more buyers shop on Kifaayat, we have been improving the checkout experience to make buying and selling smoother for everyone. To support this, Stripe payments now need to be set up for all sellers so that buyers can complete purchases without any issues.

Your listing is still live right now. However, listings without Stripe payments set up will not stay active on the platform from 23rd April 2026. We are sharing this now so you have time to complete it and continue selling without any interruption. 

Please note that your account is never deleted. Your listing(s) will simply not be visible to buyers until payments are set up.

1. Why am I receiving this email?

You are receiving this because payments are not set up on your account yet. We are now making this a standard step so that every listing on Kifaayat is active, trustworthy, and ready for buyers.

2. Is this required for all sellers?

Yes. Stripe payments need to be set up to continue selling on Kifaayat. This helps ensure that when a buyer is interested, they can complete the purchase without any issues.

3. How does this help me as a seller?

When payments are set up:
• Buyers can complete purchases easily
• You do not lose interested buyers
• Your chances of selling improve

4. Can buyers still see my listing?

Yes, your listing is currently visible. However, listings that are not fully set up for payments may not remain active on the platform from 23rd April 2026.

5. Can buyers purchase my item right now?

Not yet. Until payments are set up, buyers cannot complete the purchase. This often means buyers may not move forward with their purchase even if they like your item.

6. What should I do now?

You can set up Stripe when you get a few minutes. Once done, your listing becomes fully active and ready for buyers.

7. Do I need to relist my item?

No. Your listing can stay as it is. You only need to complete the payment setup by 23rd April 2026 to keep it active.

8. What happens if I do not set this up?

Your listing may be removed from the platform since buyers will not be able to complete purchases.

We want to help you avoid missing out on buyers who are ready to purchase.

9. Why is this change being made?

We are seeing more buyers who are ready to purchase. To help sellers benefit from this, every listing needs to be purchase-ready. This reduces situations where buyers drop off and improves trust across the platform.

10. Is Stripe safe and free?

Yes. Stripe is used globally by businesses and marketplaces. Stripe uses best-in-class security practices to maintain a high level of security.

11. How long does it take?

Most sellers complete it in just a few minutes.

12. What details do I need?

You will need to add some basic personal details like your name, and your bank account information so Stripe can send payments directly to you. Stripe will guide you through each step clearly as you go.

13. What if I am not ready to sell right now?

That is completely okay. You can set this up when you are ready, but listings without payments will not be able to stay active on the platform.

14. Will I lose my listing details if it is removed?

No. Your details remain saved in your account. You can complete the setup and continue anytime.
