Currently we don't have security deposits embedded into rental listings.
If you require a security deposit to be paid by the renter, this can be done by creating a "Security Deposit" listing as shown below. You should include the link to the security deposit in your rental listing too so people who are booking your item are aware there is a security deposit required.
The security deposit will be processed as a refund back to the renter upon of the return item (the 15% commission automatically calculated for the security deposit will also be returned to you).
You must raise a ticket or email [email protected] to confirm the item has been returned so we can refund the item back to the renter. If you do not inform us that the rental item has been returned, we will automatically return the deposit back to the renter within 7 business days of the end date of the rental period.
Should there be any disputes with the item, you must raise a ticket or email [email protected] with evidence in line with our disputes process.
PLEASE NOTE: Any transaction conducted outside of the Kifaayat platform (e.g. via bank details, PayID, direct text messages etc.) will not be supported for any disputes.
