How to Lend - quick guide with screenshots

Step 1

Once you've created, taken photos and measurements of your rental item, you can list it on Kifaayat in less than 2 minutes. Take good quality photos and include a detailed description. Include the shipping cost cost in your daily rate, determined by you. The renter can pay return shipping when they send it back to you, or you can provide a return shipping label. 

Step 2

You will be prompted to include the availability of the item. You can edit this at anytime. Once you've done this, your listing will be approved within 2 business days (make sure you have set up payments via Stripe). 

Step 3

Once someone is ready to rent your item, you can accept or decline the request. Once you've accepted, either send the item to the renter or arrange for pick-up. You can direct message each other using the platform. When your rental is complete, the renter will send the item back to you. Anytime an item is posted, a tracking ID must be provided. 

Step 4

Once the renter has returned the item and you have received it, the transaction will be marked as complete (at end of the rental period) and you will receive you final payout to the bank account you have included in your setup for Stripe. You will then be promoted to leave feedback for the renter. Once the item is returned, it is your responsibility for cleaning the item before its next rental. 

PLEASE NOTE: Any transaction conducted outside of the Kifaayat platform (e.g. via bank details, PayID, direct text messages etc.) will not be supported for any disputes.
