Looking to rent South Asian fashion items, accessories and decorations? Follow these simple steps to get started:
- Browse our selection of rental South Asian items from our lenders.
- Use our filters and keyword search to find the items that you love! If you have any questions about the product, you can contact the seller directly.
- Once you are ready to rent your favourite item, can select the dates you need the item for and check-out securely using with your credit/debit card. At this point this is an authorisation of payment, the payment will only be sent to the seller once they've accepted the transaction.
- The seller will send you a message confirming the item has been shipped and it will include a tracking number (or if you choose pick up, arrange a time and location for pick-up via direct message on the platform).
- On the day you receive the item, take a proof of condition with a timestamp. Make sure to notify your lender of any undisclosed damage. Without proof of condition, Kifaayat will not be able to assist in a dispute regarding damage.
- Dress up, take a photo and enjoy your rental item!
- Once your rental period ends, you must return the item within 24 hours of the last day of the rental period. Make sure you take another proof of condition with a timestamp on the day of delivery. You will pay for the shipping cost or arrange a pick-up time/location with the lender. If you choose to ship the item, you must provide a tracking ID to the lender and send it via our secure messaging platform.
- Once the item is back with the lender, you must mark the transaction as 'Complete' in your account (go to your Inbox on your Kifaayat account to do this). This will ensure the lender receives their final payment.
